‘bring back the buffi’ was a title which referenced a t-shirt that seamed popular in Australia a few years back: ‘bring back the biff’, and used a little word play with ‘buffi’ being the plural of ‘buffo’ which refers to comic opera. in bocca al lupo

Literally translated this means ‘in the mouth of the wolf’ but it is a common operatic well wish in the theatre (akin to ‘break a leg’ or ‘toi toi toi’ which is what I usually say) and is usually given reply of ‘crepi al lupo’ or ‘die, wolf, die!’. Don’t ask me how this came about.. those crazy Italians. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you there!
