Apparently London hasn’t seen this much snow in around 20 years. The forecasters are expecting around 15cm of snow to have fallen by the morning. School was cancelled today, but I didn’t find out until surviving the sardine underground and got to this point (about 5 mins walk from Guildhall). London just doesn’t handle the snow. The aforementioned tube was in shambles. I had to laugh when the automated announcement still added “There is good service on all other London Underground lines” after having listed cancellations or severe delays on all but one line (what’s so special about the Victoria line?). Oh, and they just withdrew all the buses!

My friend Michael, and I built a rather good snowman, even if we do say so ourselves.
